Jumeirah Islands

Jumeirah Islands is a Nakheel villa community laid out as a ring of small man-made islands inside a connected lake system, bounded by Jumeirah Lakes Towers on one side and The Meadows on the other. Villas are grouped in clusters on the islands, each cluster reached over its own bridge, so most homes look straight onto water. The clusters follow a set of architectural themes, which is why the streets read as distinct pockets rather than one repeated elevation.

The stock is villas throughout, built to a limited set of standard layouts that owners have extended and rebuilt over the years, so neighbouring houses on the same street can differ substantially inside. The Mansions sit on the larger plots, with private pools and lake frontage on more than one side. A gated enclave of townhouses sits at the edge closest to Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

Day to day the community is quiet and low-rise, with the towers of Jumeirah Lakes Towers on the skyline just beyond the gate. The perimeter lake paths are used for walking and running, and the Jumeirah Islands Pavilion covers groceries, pharmacy and cafes without leaving the community. The Clubhouse sits on the water with a pool, a gym, tennis courts and a restaurant, and it is where most of the community events are held.

Access is straightforward in both directions. Sheikh Zayed Road runs just past Jumeirah Lakes Towers, putting Dubai Marina, JBR and the beach a short drive away, and the Red Line at Sobha Realty Metro Station is close enough for a commute without a car at each end. Schools, clinics and the golf courses of Emirates Hills are all within the surrounding Emirates Living neighbourhoods.
