Accessibility

Palma Vista is committed to making our website usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across all pages.

• Semantic HTML structure with proper headings and landmarks for screen readers.
• Color contrast tested against WCAG AA minimums on text, buttons, and interactive elements.
• Keyboard navigation for all interactive components, including menus, filters, and forms.
• Descriptive alt text on property images and page graphics.
• Form labels, error messages, and focus indicators for all input fields.
• Responsive design tested on mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:

• Interactive maps (Mapbox) may be difficult to navigate by keyboard alone. Property locations are also available as text addresses on each listing page.
• Third-party embeds (e.g. social media feeds) are governed by their providers and may not meet our standards.
• Older content imported from legacy systems may have incomplete alt text; we are working through this.

The site is tested with current versions of the following assistive technologies:

• VoiceOver on macOS and iOS (Safari)
• TalkBack on Android (Chrome)
• NVDA on Windows (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
• Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review new pages and components against WCAG 2.1 AA before launch, and audit existing pages regularly. This statement will be updated as our work progresses.
